Andrea's Take

August (Auggie) Pullman was born with a severe face disorder that prevented him from going to school... until now. In this book, we explore the hardships Auggie faces as he journeys through fifth grade. Along with friends Jack and Summer, and sister Olivia (Via), we read about their year from different perspectives.

This is a very touching story. Once you've read it, I'm sure you will remember this story for years to come.

P.S.  I personally like Summer. She is very nice and kind.
