This book is about a 12 year old girl named Sophie Foster. Sophie has a secret. She can read people's minds. She doesn't know how, or why, but she does know it makes her an outcast everywhere. Everything changes one day... A cute boy named Fitz who also reads minds appears and tells Sophie something unbelievable: she is an elf. Suddenly, Sophie finds herself whisked into a vast new land where she really belongs. Sophie is glad that she will not be the "superfreak" anymore. She is finally somewhere people are like her. Sophie was safe and sound. She has made some friends and has a nice family... Until she discovered there are secrets hidden deep inside her brain. Some people would do anything to get hold of them. Would even kill for...

My Review

I absolutely love this book! It has some humour, a lot of fighting, and some romance in the later series.  The author also portrays interesting ideas about the differences between how elves and humans think. If you are not very scared of bloody fights and like some lovey-dovey stuff, this book is definitely for you! is for you. P. S. Comment on your favourite character! Mine is Keefe. Just be warned: Cliffhanger alert!
